Draping I
Fashion draping is an essential skill in the world of fashion design. This technique involves positioning and pinning fabric directly onto a dress form to shape and structure a garment. Once the draping is complete, the fabric is carefully removed and transformed into a sewing pattern for the garment.
In this 4-hour workshop, you’ll learn the foundational skills of draping—a must-have for aspiring designers and DIY clothes-makers. By the end of the session, you’ll know how to create a bodice muslin drape and transfer it to pattern paper, giving you the tools to start crafting your own clothing right away!

This class is recommended for students who have already completed the Introduction to the Home Sewing Machine course.
