Hosted by Mihaela Kim | From Idea to CLO3D Workshop
A two-session hands-on workshop
Sessions: November 18 and December 12, 2026 | 5:00‒8:00 PM
Bring a garment idea, sketch, pattern, or existing garment and learn how to recreate and develop it in CLO 3D.
Over two hands-on sessions, you’ll translate your design concept into a digital garment, refine the details, and use 3D visualization to better understand and develop your design. This workshop is designed to help you move from an initial idea to a realistic digital sample. You’ll explore how digital garment development can support your creative process, help you evaluate design choices, and make it easier to communicate your vision before sewing in the real world.
You’ll learn how to:
- Develop a garment concept in CLO 3D
- Work from an idea, sketch, pattern, or existing garment
- Build and refine a digital garment
- Visualize silhouette, proportion, and design details in 3D
- Use digital sampling to guide real-world sewing and development
Best for: Sewers, fashion designers, students, and creatives who want to bring their garment ideas into the digital world
