The Studio
The studio will be known as “Sew FYI” (hereinafter referred to as “the Studio”). All customers of the Studio are required, as a condition of participation, to adhere to the rules outlined below. These rules ensure that the facilities are used properly and safely, allowing all customers to fully enjoy their experience without disrupting others.
The Studio operates as a proprietary sewing facility located in Los Angeles. It is managed by the Studio’s Manager or other individuals designated by the Owner. The Owner holds full responsibility for the control and operation of the Studio. The availability, addition, deletion, or replacement of any facilities within the Studio is at the Owner’s sole discretion.
Participation
By participating in the services provided by the Studio, customers automatically accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Studio’s Privacy Policy.
The Owner has the absolute discretion to reject any application for participation or renewal of packages, or to cancel any prepaid services, without providing a reason. In such cases, any appropriate refund of fees, in whole or part, will be made.
Schedules are available online and will be updated at least 14 days in advance. Customers may register for scheduled workshops, events, and membership services at any time prior to their scheduled time.
Cancellations must be made no less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. No refunds are available for cancellations within 24 hours or for no-shows. Additionally, no refunds are available on prepaid service packages.
The Owner and Management reserve the right to require any customer, guest, or other person to leave the Studio premises at any time.
In the event of a Direct Debit being returned to the Studio unpaid, prepaid services may be rejected or canceled until the outstanding balance and an administration fee are paid.
The Owner may withdraw the use of all or part of the Studio’s facilities for maintenance work or any other necessary tasks. Compensation will not be provided for such closures.
Customers are entitled to use the Studio during normal opening hours when workshops or events are scheduled, or when accompanied by a staff member. The Owner and Management reserve the right to limit the number of people using the Studio at any one time.
The Studio Management also reserves the right to utilize the Studio facilities for special events, workshops, or other activities as deemed desirable.
Monthly membership begins on the day of sign-up and expires 30 consecutive days later. When the month expires, members have a 48-hour grace period to decide whether to continue or terminate their membership. In either case, Management must be notified. If you choose to discontinue your membership, you must clear your shelf within 48 hours. If no contact is made, your shelf will be cleared, and all items will be donated or discarded.
Code of Conduct
All customers are expected to behave appropriately to ensure the proper use and enjoyment of the Studio. Any customer whose behavior is deemed detrimental to the Studio’s interests or reputation may have their membership suspended or terminated.
Customers and guests are required to dress appropriately for the various Studio activities. All equipment must be returned to its proper place, and workstations should be cleaned after use. No outside equipment may be used in the Studio without Management’s consent.
Liability
Each customer using the Studio’s facilities is responsible for ensuring they are properly equipped. The Studio accepts no liability for accidents, injuries, or mishaps caused by any person using the facilities. Customers and guests are responsible for their own insurance arrangements in case of any injuries suffered by them or caused to them by a third party while using the Studio.
Personal belongings are the responsibility of the customer and must not be left unattended. The Studio does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage of any valuables while on the premises.
Variations
Management reserves the right to amend or add to these Terms and Conditions as deemed necessary. Customers must observe any amended or additional conditions or rules.
Complaints and Disputes
Any complaints regarding the Studio, or disputes concerning the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, will be referred to the Studio Owner, whose decision shall be final and binding.
Facilities
For safety reasons, the Studio must be kept clean. Clients are required to keep track of their needle tools while using the facility. Equipment and workspaces must be cleaned after use. It is common courtesy for each individual to thoroughly clean up after themselves.
Most customers are here to relax and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of sewing. Therefore, please be considerate and maintain a quiet atmosphere. While the Studio promotes community and peer review, please use discretion before engaging in conversation with other members.

Changes to the Terms
Sew FYI reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the Terms under which www.sewfyi.com is offered. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. Sew FYI encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of any updates.
