What are your business hours?
Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Saturday by appointment only. We will be closed on public holidays. The studio is accessible 24/7/365 for the weekly and monthly members.
Where do I park at your studio?
Limited parking outside the building. Free street parking is available in front of the building and along the east of 2nd Street. We highly recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to scheduled workshops to allow time to park and sign in.
How does the Membership Pass work?
Our Membership Pass is used to access our well equipped studio and all sewing tools to work on your project. Check out the Membership Types on our website.
Can I bring a friend to the studio once I am a member?
Friend or client is welcome up to 2 hours max a day and only during business hours. He/She is not allowed to use the facility. If he/she uses the facility, there will be a charge up to $115/per day. Please email us in advance prior to your friend/client’s arrival.
Do you teach how to use industry sewing machines?
Yes, we do! We offer one-on-one In-depth demonstrations to focus on your needs. This includes Single, Overlock, Cover-Stitch, and Serger. Please note every brand and machine models may differ but they work in very similar ways.
I want to be a clothing designer and start my own line. How do I start?

Do you have anyone that can help me create patterns and sewing?
Yes! we do. We have an experienced and talented In-House Tailor that provides custom made items.
How do your classes work?
We offer a variety of classes tailored to meet individual goals. Explore our Classes Menu to find the perfect fit for you. Whichever class you choose, our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way. Designed for all skill levels, our classes are available almost every day. You can easily sign up on our website or contact us by text, email, or phone. If you’re unsure which class is right for you, feel free to reach out—we’ll help you get started!
Which class should I take if I am new to sewing/haven’t sewn for a while?
The Introduction of Home Sewing Machine is perfect for beginners! In this workshop, you’ll learn about the parts of a sewing machine, how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine, and practice basic construction techniques. It’s designed to give you a solid foundation in sewing. When you’re ready to expand your skills, you can always join our additional workshops.
What is your workshop’s cancellation policy?
You can cancel or reschedule your class up to 24 hours in advance. A $25 fee will apply for any cancellations or rescheduling made within 24 hours of the class. No credits or refunds will be given for missed classes after the scheduled time.
What if I am late to a workshop?
Instructors are available to provide guidance and assistance only during the scheduled workshop hours. If you arrive late, we won’t be able to extend the session, so please be sure to arrive on time.
Do you offer any class to kids?
We love kids! However, for our Sewing Workshops, we welcome children aged 9 and above. Kids 15 and older can join any of our other workshops. For younger children, we recommend the Personal Workshop to ensure the best experience.
Do I have to bring my own sewing machine or can I use yours?
You have both options! If you own a sewing machine, we recommend using it so you can become more familiar with it and continue practicing at home—practice makes perfect! If you don’t have a machine, feel free to use one of ours at no extra cost.
What do I need to bring to class?
Just bring yourself! Our studio provides sewing tools, thread colors, and fabrics. You can also bring your own tools or materials. For the Sewing Series and Specials Workshop, a material fee of up to $25 per project may apply, or you can bring your own fabrics.
How long does it take to be really good at sewing?
Sewing is a skill best mastered through practice. The more you practice, the faster you’ll progress. Stick with it, and you’ll soon be creating your own garments with ease!
Do you sell sewing machines? What kind of sewing machine do you recommend?
We don’t sell sewing machines at our studio, but you can check out our favorites in our shop. Alternatively, we encourage you to visit our studio to try out different machines and find the one that best meets your needs.
Do you sell sewing supplies at your studio?

We offer muslin and a limited selection of fabrics for sale. For a broader range of options, the Fashion District is less than 2 miles away.
Do you offer alteration and repair services?

Yes, we do, as long as it doesn’t conflict with any previously scheduled classes. Please email or text/call us to inquire about pricing and availability for your desired date.
