NEW RULES FOR COVID-19
These rules are mandatory to ensure everyone’s safety. We are constantly
checking the safety guidelines provided by the CDC and seeking your
understanding.

Do not enter the studio if you are feeling any unwell. If you feel unwell,
a flexible reschedule is allowed without any fee for the first time.

Please sanitize your hands after entering the studio. Hand sanitizer is
provided at the entrance.
- Face mask must be worn all times.
- Keep 6 feet of distance between yourself and others at all times.

Studio is routinely cleaned and disinfected the surfaces and objects that
are touched often. This includes tables, machines, tools, countertops,
doorknobs, and light switches.

We also discourage to share the equipments or tool if possible. Please use
disinfecting spray after using.
STUDIO SPACE

Each access code is assigned to each individual and can not be shared.

Please respect the community and thoroughly clean up after yourself. Each
work station/machine, tooling, etc. to be returned to its original
position after use and sweep the floor as a courtesy for the next user.

If the Studio is at full capacity, each member shall only use half of the
pattern table.

Please share cutting mats for cutting purpose if someone needs to use
it.

Music must be kept at a minimum volume. Please be courteous and check
others before changing to a different tune.

Personal belongings are the responsibility of the customer and member. Please do not leave them
unattended. Sew FYI does not accept any responsibilities for personal
belongings’ loss, stolen, or damage while on the studio premise.

The studio accepts no liability for any accident, injury or misadventure
caused by any person while using the studio.

Surveillance cameras are recording 24/7. Any illegal activity will be
reported to police and violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent
of the law.

During the hours 6:45pm-9:30pm (every Monday to Thursday) and 10am-3:30pm
(every Saturday), the main room is reserved for workshops only, except Public Holidays.
MACHINES/TOOLINGS

Members are responsible for the safety use of all machines.

Do not use a machine if you are unsure how to use it or have not taken a
Machines Operation Workshop.

All machines are on first come serve basis. If someone is waiting for a
machine, please be courteous and respect 2 hours time limit.

Please report to a manager if any tool or machine is not working before
attempting to fix it.
- No tooling or machine can be removed from studio.
- Please use disinfecting spray after use for others’ safety.
STORAGE AREA / LOCKER

Weekly and Monthly members are allowed to have locker space.

If you decide to stock personal items in studio, it is at your own risk. Sew FYI does not accept any responsibilities for any loss, stolen or damage while on the studio premise.

Members are required to store personal items at the proper assigned space.
No bag or any personal item can be left laying around the studio or in an
unassigned area. Any misplaced items will be removed without notice.
AMENITIES

Do not leave any food/beverages overnight or eat/drink other people's food
or beverages. Any leftover will be discarded by end of day without notice.

No drinks are allowed near machine or on cutting table without cup closure
and coaster.
- No smoking on studio premises or inside building.
- No pets are allowed in the studio.
MEMBER'S GUEST

Members are allowed to bring guest(s) for 2 hours max per visit per day.

No guests are allowed after business hours (10am-5pm) without manager’s
approval. Guests are not allowed in the studio without your presence.

Guests are not allowed to use any machine or tool. They will need to get
their own membership to use the facility.
Any violations to the rules set above will result in termination of
membership immediately and additional fees may be required.
